$1000 Worth of Donations to Local Animal Shelters: Beaver Acts of Wow 10
If you are a resident of Florida, or were visiting Florida last week, you would know how devastating hurricane Dorian was to the Bahamas. You would also know how nervous everyone was waiting to see if the same devastation would come spiraling towards us! With that being said, Bucky Beaver made a good point, when he realized that his fellow Beaver’s would be content during the storm, but wondered what would happen to the animals living on the street, or those sitting in a shelter? So, for our random Acts of Wow #10, we put Bucky’s concern into action as we drove around to local animal shelters and donated $1,000 worth of dog and cat food, treats and toys! Our crew from Beaver Chevrolet, as well as, Bucky were extremely thankful that we were able to help our four legged friends after such a long week of uncertainty. Our Beaver Chevrolet family would like to thank the Jacksonville Humane Society, The Joseph A. Strasser Animal Health & Welfare, and First Coast No More Homeless Pets (FCNMHP) for giving tours, taking pictures and providing Bucky with big hugs! They really do a lot of wonderful things for the people and animals of our Jacksonville community. Our family at Beaver Chevrolet appreciates all you!
2018 Jacksonville Humane Society took in 5348 stray animals.
2017 FCNMHP took in 19,244 homeless animals.
If you or someone you know is a Local Wow Hero (Mom, Grandma, Friend, or Local Veterinarian) or First Responder, let them know how much you care, by telling us how great they are, and they might get a chance to WIN A NEW CHEVROLET VEHICLE!
