2019 Chevy Equinox Reviews Highlight a Chevy Favorite
The 2019 Chevy Equinox reviews have arrived! Having just been redesigned last year, Ponte Vedra drivers are tempted now more than ever to pick a new Equinox configuration. Checking out what the reviews have to say will only further persuade you to get your own.
The 2019 reviews, such as the one from Edmunds, are quick to mention the advances in safety technology in the Equinox as “all the latest safety features are available, from a surround-view parking camera to forward collision warning system that can identify pedestrians.” The rest of the safety tech to boast about includes:
- Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning
- Low-Speed Forward Automatic Braking
- Forward Collision Alert
- Rear Cross Traffic Alert
- Rear Vision Camera
- Adaptive Cruise Control
With all of these safety features at your disposal, you can have better peace of mind on your Jacksonville Beach commute as the Equinox will keep you protected.
Power and MPG
Kelley Blue Book states, “other reasons to choose the Equinox are for its two optional engines: a segment-exclusive diesel that earns up to 39 mpg, or the potent, 252-horsepower turbocharged 4-cylinder.” The standard power comes from a 170 hp, 1.5L four-cylinder, but a 252 hp upgrade is available so you can tow up to 3,000 pounds. The Equinox also offers a 1.6L Diesel engine, producing 137 hp and 240 lb-ft of torque, giving drivers up to 28 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway.
“The 2019 Equinox gains updated infotainment software for its 7.0- and 8.0-inch touchscreens and an available HD rearview camera.” – The Car Connection
With high-end technology including Teen Driver Mode allowing you to set speed limits, receive driving reports, and more, you can not only stay connected but feel safer. The 2019 Equinox cabin was designed for comfort, convenience, and entertainment with features including:
- Apple CarPlay™️ and Android Auto™️ integration
- Onboard Wi-Fi
- Chevrolet Infotainment System
- Available wireless charging system
- And more!
